The youth ministry program at Southminster Presbyterian Church is an
exciting place to be. We believe in building a community of faith
through worship, service, and fellowship in which students, in
partnership with adults, can grow socially, emotionally, and
spiritually. We are connected to each other, the whole church, the
whole world, through our faith in Jesus Christ.
During the school year the middle school youth group meets on Wednesdays
from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. The high school youth group meets on Sundays
from 5:30 - 7:00 PM.
Both Youth Groups are using the Student
life series as curriculum. Most months, 2 weeks are devoted to
Bible studies lessons using the curriculum. One week a month is devoted
to special activities or an outing and one week for a mission
opportunity.
Both Youth Groups are a vital part of the
congregation and they share an equal passion for missions and service
projects. Every month, the youth group devotes one week to
missions or service projects. The following is a partial list of the
church missions and service projects that were supported by the youth
programs.
