Leadership
The Presbyterian
church has a representational form of government. The three
leadership entities within Southminster Presbyterian Church are the
Session, Deacons, and Members of the Congregation. The Session is
the governing body of the local congregation. The Deacons are
responsible for congregation care and nurture. The Membership of
the Congregation serves as leaders in ways that are irreplaceable.
They serve as Sunday School teachers, ushers, youth advisors,
landscapers, Stephen Ministers, prayer partners, committee members,
office volunteers, in the choir, and whole lot more.
