PNC Monthly Status Report

(Pastor Nominating Committee)

The PNC weekly meetings began on January 7^th.  The committee is in the early stages of forming so the meetings were primarily for planning & organizational purposes.  The PNC structured itself into the following 4 workgroups or sub-committees.

1.    Mission Study – This workgroup will lead the congregation in determining the nature and mission of the church.  Once completed, pastor candidates will then be matched to the direction chosen by the congregation.  This workgroup is in the early planning phase of the mission study process.

2.    Communications – This workgroup will keep the congregation informed of the PNC’s progress & status.  This workgroup is currently active and also in the early planning phase.

3.    CIF (church information form) – This workgroup will perform the administrative work needed to match pastor candidates to the church’s direction.  This workgroup is also in the early planning phase and will not be fully engaged until the mission study has been completed.

4.    Correspondence – This workgroup will assist the other workgroups with congregation wide correspondence.

The PNC members are: Mackenzie Buell, Randy Corbin, Doug Earle, Richard Early, Clara Goforth, Dan Hauschel, Nell Schwartz, Marty Ugarte and Dorothy Watts.
